For years, I thought I had to run alone. But when we hoard our healing and hide our lessons, we leave the next woman stumbling in the dark. I can’t be okay with that anymore.

Breaking the Silence

I never wanted to tell my business. My sister used to say, “Angie only tells you what she wants you to know.” Didn’t everybody? Truth is, most of my story was headed to the grave with me. Yet here I am — sharing for the young and the older women who didn’t have anyone to learn from. If someone had handed me the baton sooner, maybe I wouldn’t have tripped so many times.

From Messy to Medicine

I’ve lived fifty years — a half century of mistakes, lessons, and mercies. I’m not a therapist; I’m a woman who has lived. I’ve walked through abandonment, betrayal, and disappointment. I’ve cried behind closed doors and still showed up smiling. I used to think my story was just messy. Now I see it’s medicine — for me, for you, for whoever needs it.
